flew to split, croatia ("what, that's the name of the town?" is what di said), to meet kim at the riva. after getting lost downtown trying to drive around the palace of diocletian, we hopped the ferry for the island of brac. first stop: supetar, where i had my first taste of salata od hobotnice - octopus salad, morsels of tender octopus drizzled with croatian olive oil and parsley.
