it's fall. the sun is starting to set at 2 p.m. and yesterday i got caught in the worst downpour of rain and hail of my life. where was noah's ark when i needed it?it still amazes me that none of the talented designers in london have come up with a cleverer solution for dealing with the rain besides wellies and a mac (though wellies on sat would've been just jolly). there is no end to the number of cute tea cosies on the market and i recently saw an ad for a mug that comes with a built-in shelf for your biscuits. but it's as though people are pretending it doesn't rain here: why hasn't anyone come up with a portable, rainproof bubble you can zip yourself into when it pours?

cool pic. have you noticed how some streets in london, you can see the leaves squashed into the asphalt. i think its on the really grainy stuff like bus stops. & i have seen it over in knightsbridge. but could never get anyone to pay attention to it
