we biked along regent's canal from islington to limehouse basin, serendipitously coming upon the new gordon ramsey pub, the narrow. unfortunately, we had just had a big italian lunch at carluccio's but when the rain clears, i'd like to go back.
i took a peek at the menu, and this is what i'd order:
- Braised gloucester pig cheeks with mashed neeps (neeps?!)
- Pea, leek and morel flan with poached egg
- Baked egg custard, goosnargh cakes (um, goosnargh?)

a london post ! ? suitably black & white ... thats our old stomping (er drinking) ground when we used to live even more easter then that. i think that used to be the 'barley mow' ... oddly enough went there for a pint on xmas once. (not our most festive ) farther down the road 'the grapes' is an old fave. its raining here too.
