the famous ibizan sunset at san antonio bay
i suspect we were the three most exotic girls to hit ibiza.
first there's miss deb, who - when asked by our handsome valenciano waiter where she was from - responded: "chicken."
the land of chicken?
so henceforth she was known as miss pollonesa, from polloland, a little known spanish island where, oddly enough, they don't eat seafood. ("i thought he said 'what are you waiting for??'" protested miss pollonesa, having forgotten to adjust her hearing aid...)
and then there is AK, who turned up in ibiza with an outfit i like to call "sir lancelot goes to ibiza" - loads of glimmering shining armor, but only covering, say, 10 percent of the body. i'd love to post a photo but this is a PG-rated blog!
well, my knightess in shining armor came in handy in fending off the italians who were no doubt lured like bulls to a matador to her, em, "vest" of steel. one of them asked me if i had come from bora bora.
"bora bora! she's not from bora bora," miss lancelot said, coming to my defense. "she's from minneapolis!"
"er, i think he means the *nightclub* bora bora," i said, wishing i were tan and tawny enough to pass for a girl from the pacific.
